On May 7, 2022, Willie Hawkins was fatally shot on Detroit's west side. Following the shooting, he fled the scene and was later found in a Ford Edge, from which officers pulled him as the vehicle burned. The incident occurred at the intersection of Woodrow Wilson and Virginia Park.
In the aftermath of Hawkins' death, authorities sought public assistance to identify and apprehend the individual(s) responsible. Crime Stoppers offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest. ...Read More
