Jordan Thornhill, a 22-year-old recent graduate of Michigan State University, tragically lost his life in the early hours of July 5, 2024, at an unsanctioned block party in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred around 12:50 a.m. in the 14000 block of Cherrylawn Street in northwest Detroit, where Thornhill had gone to enjoy fireworks with friends.
