On the evening of November 30, 2016, Dajuan Arrington, a 43-year-old man, was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m. in the parking lot of a Family Dollar store located at 12603 Dexter Avenue, on the city's west side. Arrington had made a stop at the store while on his way to his fiancée's house.
