On a spring evening in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the life of 26-year-old Londrell Cook was cut short by gunfire. On April 11, 2020, Cook was shot on the city's north side, in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries later that day.
