On August 11, 2011, Manuel Amaro-Rojas, a 24-year-old resident of Denver, Colorado, met a tragic end in what initially appeared to be a car accident but was later determined to be a homicide. The incident occurred when Amaro-Rojas's car crashed through a fence at the intersection of 8th and Decatur in Denver.
