In the mile-high city of Denver, Colorado, a warm spring day in 2014 took a grim turn with the discovery of a local man's untimely death. On the afternoon of May 31st, the body of 53-year-old Pedro Padilla was found in the north parking lot located at 3301 W Alameda Ave. The discovery, made at approximately 12:30 pm, immediately launched a homicide investigation by the Denver Police Department.
