On a late summer evening in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the life of 24-year-old Marcell Savon Alguarelles-Bell was tragically cut short. On August 26, 2023, officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the sound of gunfire in the 1600 block of East Stockbridge Avenue.
