In a tragic turn of events on January 6, 2016, 17-year-old Temetrion Hegler was shot and killed in his Kalamazoo, Michigan, residence. A senior at Loy Norrix High School, Hegler was a vibrant young man with a promising future, hoping to attend Michigan State University to become an athletic trainer.
