Marcus Jackson-Burton, aged 32, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2020, in Lansing, Michigan. He was one of two victims in a shooting incident that occurred at the Pleasant Grove Plaza in South Lansing. Marcus, who had recently returned to Lansing from Texas, was visiting family and had just dropped off his children after a summer vacation when the incident occurred. His half-brother, Steven Lee Jackson, was also killed in the same shooting.
