On a cold February evening in Lansing, Michigan, the life of 18-year-old Makhi Urzuri Williams was tragically cut short. On February 5, 2023, while driving a Jeep in the 2100 block of Beal Avenue, Williams was struck by gunfire. First responders rushed to the scene following reports of the shooting and found him suffering from a gunshot wound.
