In the late hours of a summer evening in Highland Park, Michigan, James Arness Hill, a 39-year-old man, was fatally shot on August 21, 2020. The incident occurred while he was in his SUV outside a Coney Island restaurant located on Hamilton Avenue near McNichols Road. Hill was with a passenger at the time, a man who would soon become the primary suspect in his death.
