Garcius Woodyard, a 49-year-old resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan, was tragically killed on February 18, 2020, in Highland Park. Woodyard died from a gunshot wound to the head, and his death was part of a series of murders believed to have been committed by Kenyel Brown. Brown, a 40-year-old man from River Rouge, was a suspect in multiple homicides across the Detroit metropolitan area, including the fatal shooting of Woodyard.
