On February 2, 2023, the bodies of 31-year-old Montoya Givens, along with Armani Kelly and Dante Wicker, were discovered in the basement of an abandoned apartment complex in Highland Park, Michigan. The three men, all aspiring rappers, had been missing since January 21, 2023, when they were scheduled to perform at Lounge 31 in Detroit. The event was canceled due to equipment issues, and the men were not heard from thereafter.
