On May 6, 2024, 56-year-old Winifred Bowers was found deceased inside a vehicle that had crashed in the 5400 block of Harney Avenue in St. Louis' Walnut Park East neighborhood. Responding officers discovered that Bowers had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bowers resided in the 1500 block of Northwinds Estates Drive in Ferguson, Missouri. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has not released information re
