On a December afternoon in 2020, 38-year-old Jason Foster was found shot to death in his car, which was parked in front of his home on Rein Street in Eastpointe, Michigan. Police were called to the scene around 3 p.m. on December 9th after reports of multiple gunshots. Investigators discovered 18 shell casings from two different caliber weapons at the scene, suggesting a violent and premeditated attack.
The investigation into Foster's murder quickly became complex.
