In an act that began with a dispute between friends, 27-year-old Juwan McCreary of Eastpointe, Michigan, lost his life on November 20, 2021. The fatal encounter occurred when McCreary and a friend, Gregory John Strickland, became involved in an argument at a home on Firwood Avenue in Eastpointe. The disagreement, which started inside the residence, spilled outside and escalated into a physical confrontation.
