Larenzo Smith, a 15-year-old African American boy, was tragically killed on February 19, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Chatham neighborhood on the city's South Side. Larenzo was walking with a 19-year-old woman when they were approached by an unknown assailant who opened fire.
