In the spring of 2021, a concerned family member's call for a welfare check led to a grim discovery at a residence on North Broad Street in Battle Creek, Michigan. On May 1st, police entered the home of 61-year-old Daniel Murray to find he had been fatally shot. Investigators believe the tragic event took place earlier that week, sometime between the late hours of Monday, April 26th, and the early morning of April 27th.
