On August 3, 2023, 27-year-old Elmarko Fontane Williams Jr. was fatally shot in Battle Creek, Michigan. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the area of Maple Terrace, following a house party. Officers from the Battle Creek Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Williams with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
