In the summer of 2021, a tragedy unfolded in a residence in Comstock Township, Michigan, forever altering the lives of two families. On the evening of June 30th, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they discovered the bodies of 21-year-old Patricia Cathleen Breanna May and Zackery Bower, also 21. Both had been victims of gun violence in what was immediately classified as a double homicide.
