In the early hours of September 21, 2021, the life of 23-year-old Collin Mitchell was abruptly ended. A single gunshot wound was the cause of his death outside his residence at the LakeView Apartments in Kalamazoo Township, Michigan. Emergency responders were called to the scene on Elkerton Avenue around 12:20 a.m., where they found Mitchell on the ground, but their efforts to save him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
