Gary Albert Smock, a 30-year-old schoolteacher from Plymouth, Michigan, met a tragic end on May 30, 1964, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Smock, known for his dedication to teaching and his involvement in youth work for The Church of God, was a husband and father of two daughters.
