In the early hours of a Saturday morning in November 2014, the life of 21-year-old Daniel Anderson, a male resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of a shooting, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers arrived at a residence in the 2000 block of Inverness Lane to find Anderson suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety initiated an investigation into the shooting death of the young man.
