In the early hours of a Saturday morning in November 2014, the life of 21-year-old Daniel Anderson, a male resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of a shooting, Kalamazoo Public Safety officers arrived at a residence in the 2000 block of Inverness Lane to find Anderson suffering from a gunshot wound.
