Jason VanOstran, a 29-year-old resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2014. The incident occurred inside a mobile home in Kalamazoo Township, where he was fatally shot by his brother-in-law, Timothy Salo. Initially, Salo claimed that VanOstran had shot himself, but later admitted to the shooting, stating it was an accident.
