Kalen Lesean Mathews, a 19-year-old from Lansing, Michigan, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2022. Kalen was born on April 16, 2003, and was known for his aspirations to become a police officer. He was an active member of the Lansing Explorers Program from a young age and was deeply involved in his community, volunteering at local elections, food pantries, and other community services.
