Domonique Ardister, a 29-year-old male who was Black/African American, was shot in the early morning hours of May 25, 2012 in Lansing, Michigan. At approximately 2:45 a.m., Domonique Ardister pulled into the driveway of his home on the 2500 block of Newark. Before he could shift the car into park, he was ambushed and struck by multiple gunshots to the head. Neighbors awoke to the sound of gunfire and frantic voices as first responders converged on the quiet residential stretch.
