On the evening of April 13, 2021, in a home in Delta Township, Michigan, a suburb of Lansing, a tragic event unfolded that would leave a family and community in shock. Inside the residence, deputies from the Eaton County Sheriff's Office discovered a scene of violence. Joseph James Lechleitner, a 48-year-old male from Shingleton in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
