In the late hours of a Saturday, on August 6, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Elijah Steward was tragically cut short in Inkster, Michigan. Steward, a young male, had just stepped out of the 25 Hour Party Store on Michigan Avenue at Beech Daly when a fatal encounter unfolded. He was with a friend at the time, and what began as a brief verbal exchange with individuals in another vehicle quickly escalated to a moment of irreversible violence.
