Elijah Steward, a 19-year-old from Inkster, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed on August 6, 2022. The incident occurred as he was leaving the 25 Hour Party Store located on Michigan Avenue at Beech Daly. According to witnesses, Steward had a brief verbal exchange with someone in another car that had pulled up.
