On May 14, 2010, Kim Kirk Cox, a 40-year-old woman from Sherman, Mississippi, was tragically murdered by her estranged husband, David Neal Cox. The incident began when David Cox broke into the home of Kim's sister, where Kim and her children had been staying out of fear for their safety.
