Justin Curry, a 19-year-old from Laurel, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on January 3, 2014. The incident occurred during a shooting at a house in south Laurel. According to reports, Curry and another individual, Bennie Owens, were visiting friends when they were shot multiple times while leaving the house on Woodlawn Drive.
