Michael Tomario Pruitt, aged 44, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2021, in Laurel, Mississippi. Pruitt was found unresponsive on the front lawn of a residence on North 17th Avenue, having sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The incident occurred just before 8 a.m., and it was reported that Pruitt had been held at gunpoint before being shot. His assailants also stole his vehicle and some cash.
