In the summer of 2021, a tragedy unfolded in Laurel, Mississippi, that cut short the life of Michael Tomario Pruitt, a 44-year-old male. On the evening of July 29th, Pruitt was found with a gunshot wound in the 100 block of North 17th Avenue. The Laurel Police Department responded to the scene, and Pruitt was quickly transported to a local hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
