In the late hours of a Thursday in Laurel, Mississippi, a domestic dispute inside a convenience store tragically escalated, leading to the death of 54-year-old Terry Merrill. The African American man was fatally shot in the chest outside the Scott and Pops Store on Ellisville Boulevard on March 21, 2024.
