Bennie Owens

Bennie Owens, a 31-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the night of January 3, 2014, in Laurel, Mississippi. The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on Woodlawn Drive, where Owens and a friend were visiting another friend's house. As they were leaving the residence, both men were shot multiple times.
