John Lee Porter, a 59-year-old man, was fatally shot on July 25, 2014, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, following a dispute that began inside a local establishment. The altercation started as a verbal disagreement inside a venue known as 'Brother Jay's Club' on Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Drive.
