Joseph James Acuff, Jr., a 42-year-old white male, was found deceased in the driveway of his Vicksburg, Mississippi, residence on September 12, 2015. An investigation revealed that Acuff, a construction worker and owner of his own roofing company, had died from a gunshot wound. His death was ruled a homicide and was noted as the first homicide of the year in Warren County.
