In the early morning hours of a Saturday in February 2016, the community of Yazoo City, Mississippi, was marked by a tragedy that has yet to find resolution. The body of 24-year-old DeAngelo Gant Brown was discovered by a local business owner in the parking lot of the Twin Plaza Cinema. A bright and promising young man, Brown's life was cut short by what authorities would quickly determine to be a homicide.
