An argument reportedly erupted between Thomas and Wesley Littleton, which escalated to a tragic conclusion. Responding to a call around 10 p.m., police officers discovered Thomas on the porch with a gunshot wound to his back. Though he was still alive and able to speak briefly with the officers, his condition was critical. He was airlifted to a hospital in Jackson for medical attention.
