Willie Thomas Jr., a 35-year-old resident of Yazoo City, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on September 17, 2021. The incident occurred late in the evening when officers responded to a call about a shooting at 632 Central Alley around 10:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Thomas with a gunshot wound to his back. Despite being airlifted to a hospital in Jackson, he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
