On October 1, 2023, 22-year-old Tyjuwan "TJ" Wyatt was fatally shot while walking his dog on 13th Street in Yazoo City, Mississippi. The incident occurred just before 10:00 a.m., when an unidentified assailant approached Wyatt and fired multiple shots, resulting in his death at the scene.
