In the quiet morning hours of October 1, 2023, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, a young man named Tyjuwan 'TJ' Wyatt, aged 22, was out walking his dog. It was a routine activity that took a tragic turn just before 10:00 a.m. on 13th Street. As Wyatt and his canine companion made their way, an assailant approached and shattered the morning's peace, firing multiple shots at the young man. The unexpected violence of the act left Wyatt with fatal injuries, and he died at the scene.
