In the late summer of 2014, the life of Perry Bernard Nollins, a 28-year-old Black male from Yazoo City, Mississippi, was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On the evening of August 25th, authorities discovered Nollins inside his overturned vehicle on Rainbow Street. He had sustained two gunshot wounds to his head, and it was determined that he had been shot before his car rolled down an incline and settled in a ditch.
