On a tragic day in Yazoo City, Mississippi, a sequence of events cut short the life of Richard Earl Baker. The 36-year-old Black male died on June 18, 2023, in what initially appeared to be a simple vehicle accident. First responders were called to the scene where a car had crashed into a building.
