Edward H. Rogers, a 27-year-old resident of Yazoo City, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on November 25, 2022. The incident occurred at a car wash on Barnwell Street around 8:30 p.m. Rogers was shot in the leg, and the bullet struck an artery, causing him to bleed to death. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 8:58 p.m. The police chief, Kenny Hampton, indicated that the shooting might have been drug-related.
