In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Yazoo City, Mississippi, a violent altercation unfolded that would end with two men dead. On April 2, 2016, 59-year-old Wesley Moore was at the Big Chase Restaurant on East Broadway Street when he was shot in the back. The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Emergency services were called, and Moore was rushed to a hospital in Jackson for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
