In the summer of 2017, the community of Greenwood, Mississippi, was shaken by the violent death of 27-year-old Desmond Touche' Baker. On June 7, 2017, Baker was discovered on a roadside in Leflore County with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. What began as a grim discovery soon unraveled into a story of a robbery that had taken a deadly turn, cutting short the life of a young man.
