Ashton Alexander Davis, a 26-year-old resident of Greenwood, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 23, 2022. Davis, who worked in food service, was one of three men shot and killed in a wave of gun violence that struck Greenwood on that fateful Sunday. The other victims were Quincy Turner, 31, and Justin Doyle, 32. The shootings occurred in different locations, with Davis and Turner being shot near the 800 block of Main Street, while Doyle was killed on Ridge Street.
