Lakenson Bridges, a 20-year-old resident of Leflore County, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on February 22, 2021. He was shot multiple times at the Brazil Homes complex on Luther Drive, just outside Greenwood. The incident occurred in the morning, and Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders received a call about the shooting from the Sheriff’s Department at 9:56 a.m. Bridges, who was not a resident of Brazil Homes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
