On July 11, 2023, 14-year-old Robert Kentrell Anderson Jr. was fatally shot in Greenwood, Mississippi. According to reports, Robert was an innocent bystander standing in his yard when the incident occurred. His mother, Lakivia Lacy, stated, "My son was not the target. He was in his own yard."
