On a Sunday evening, the 22nd of June, 2025, in Greenwood, Mississippi, the life of a 24-year-old Black/African American woman named Keyara McCline was tragically cut short. The events unfolded in the parking lot of the No Way Jose restaurant located on West Park Avenue, between 8:45 and 9:00 p.m. McCline was standing beside another person when a car was captured on security footage backing up.
