On a summer morning in Greenwood, Mississippi, the life of 21-year-old Robert Harrison was tragically cut short. On June 22, 2026, authorities received a call at 6:04 a.m. regarding a shooting at the Brazil Homes on Luther Drive. Upon arrival, they found Harrison, who had been shot in front of a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident marked the third gun-involved homicide in Leflore County for that year.
