In the quiet afternoon of a Friday in Greenwood, Mississippi, the life of 44-year-old Doniel Nellum was brought to a violent and abrupt end. On January 12, 2024, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Nellum was gunned down in the driveway of a residence located at 609 Mimosa Street. The attack was brazen and overwhelming; law enforcement officials reported that a barrage of at least 50 shots were fired by multiple assailants.
