On January 12, 2024, 44-year-old Doniel Nellum was fatally shot in the driveway of his residence at 609 Mimosa Street in Greenwood, Mississippi. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., near Greenwood High School. Leflore County Coroner Debra Sanders confirmed Nellum's death, noting that he would have turned 45 in February.
