In the early summer of 2024, the life of Jeffery Antonio Coleman, a 54-year-old man from Greenwood, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. On the second of June, Coleman was fatally shot in an act of gun violence that took place at the Deluxe Inn in Greenwood. The incident added another name to the growing list of lives lost to firearms in the community.
